BR8: Flood

-Summary-
Biff and Mom took Floppy for a walk, but it had been raining these days. The stream had flooded, so they couldn't cross the little bridge. They were surprised at the fact. Mom hoped the rain stops. The next day, Biff and Chip went to school, but it was still raining, so students couldn't play outside. It stopped rainig in the afternoon. Students wanted to play football, but they couldn't do it, because the ground is wet. Biff, Chip and Kipper went back home and they watched the weather forecast. According to the weather forecast, bad storms will be coming. Next mornig, Chip and Dad took Floppy for a walk. They went to the park. The park was flooded, Chip was surprised at the sight of the park. It didn't stop raining, so the road was flooded. That day, the school was closed, because the effects of the flood. Dad put the sandbags in front of the doors, so Biff and Chip helped Dad to carry these, and they began to carry all the furniture upstairs. In the night, Dad couldn't sleep and he was worried about the flood, so he went downstairs. The flood water had come in the house. Dad was very surprised by that. Everyone woke up. The next day, the street was flooded, it looked like a river. Some fire officers came to home, and they brought a dinghy, so everyone got in it. They went to a hall, there was a lot of people in it. Kipper didn't want to sleep at there, because there was a lot of people in the hall. After a short time, Gran came to the hall, so the children were happy. They went back home after a short time. The floors were covered with mud. They were shocked by the fact. They began to clean the floors.

I know about flood causes a great deal of damage to a town. When I was a young child, my hometown was flooded. I hate a heavy rain, too. ( 353 words )
