Essay 2-02a: Language Learning Experience

I had learned three languages, Japanese, English and French. I will tell you about how to study these languages.
First, I will tell you about how to study Japanese. When I was a high school student, I learned Japanese classics, Chinese classics and kanji. I thought Chinese classic is more difficult than Japanese classic. I have learned Japanese classic since I was a junior high school student, but I was very weak in it. I took an achievement test of Japanese classics every week. And Chinese classic is also difficult for me. It is difficult for me to read Chinese classics in particular. By the way, I have learned kanji since I was an elementary schoolchild. I have learned calligraphy, so I was good at kanji when I was a high school student. Sometimes, I forget how to write kanji, because there are many kinds of kanji. I want to take a certification examination of kanji in the near future.
Next, I have learned English since I was a junior high school student. When I was a junior high school student, I learned basic English grammar and vocabulary at the school. And I took private lessons in English once a week. When I was a high school student, I learned grammar and a lot of words for the national center test for university admission. I took an English vocabulary test every week. I improved my reading comprehension by classes, but I could't speak English fluently. I thought classe of high school isn't suited for speaking English. By the way, I am studying English by reading books, watching movies and listening foreign musics now. I participated in the homestay program in this summer. This experience improved my listening skill. I will take TOEIC and TOEFL in the near future, so I am studying English vocabulary now.
Finally, I have learned French last year. I thought French is more difficult than English, because French has a male noun and a female noun. And it was very difficult for me to pronounce French vocabulary. I studied French for one year.
I think learning foreign languages is very difficult thing. I want to be like a native speaker. And I want to learn Swedish in the future, because my host mother was a Swede. ( 382 words )
