My favorite season

My favorite season is summer. There are some reasons why I like summer. First of all, I like swimming. I practiced swimming when I was an elementary schoolchild, and I belonged to swimming club when I was a high school student. I like swimming in the ocean. Second, there is a long vacation during summer. I was surprised that most of universities have so long summer vacation. When I was a high school student, I had only two weeks' vacation. Finally, I can return to my family home. I live in Kumamoto by myself. My hometown is Miyazaki. My parents have 5 dogs and 2 cats, so I want to return to my family home to see them. I like summer better than winter, because I am sensitive to the cold. ( 131 words )
