Go to America!

I got up at 6:30 a.m. I picked up a taxi, and I went to Kumamoto airport by taxi. The taxi fare was 4600 yen. It was so expensive. I arrieved at Kumamoto airport at 8 a.m. I am going to go to America from now on. First of all, I left Kumamoto to Haneda. It took about 2 hours. Second, after arriving at Haneda, I went to Narita by a charterd bus. Finally, I left Narita to America at 4 p.m. This is my first visit to America and I have never been foreign countries, so I was very nervous. It took about 14 hours to arrive at Minnesota. I'm tired by a long trip, because I couldn't sleep at the airplane and I haven't experienced a long trip. I was surprised by in-flight meals.
After arriving at Minneapolis airport, I went through customs. I thought the customs authorities in America are not porticularly strict with Japanese tourists. My host family went to meet me at the airport. This act made me happy. They are very kind for me.
I noticed some differences between Minnesota and Japan. First of all, Minnesota has not any mountains, but Minnesota has a lot of lakes. It thought Minnesota is very beautiful state. I was amazed by this truth. Second, American citizens don't have to pay toll to ride a superhighway. There is no tollgate to ride a superhighway. Third, when sitting in a back seat, people have to fasten a seat belt. In Japan, this system is not strict.
Welcome Party opened at 5 p.m. I was very interesting. I taught Japanese to host families and English teachers with my group. After finishing party, I'm little tired. I thought the cause of it is jet lag.
I want to enjoy with my host family and make effort to study English at Bethel university from today. ( 327words )
